Shirley Key is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Key Solutions Consulting & Career Services, LLC, a dynamic consulting and training company focused on providing exceptional service for clients, in areas of Career Advancement, Effective Communication, Leadership Development, Team Building, and Coaching. As a passionate HR Leader, Shirley truly enjoys helping others reach their full potential!
A certified facilitator and trainer, Shirley has over 20 years
of Human Resources experience in all HR disciplines.
She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree focused on Human Resource Management and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management. Shirley has also earned a Paralegal Certificate and a Graduate Certificate in Adult Education, with a focus on Instructional Technology, which allowed her to gain a greater understanding of adult learners. She is the Founding President of an Employee Resource Group and understands how all voices play a key role in contributing to success.
Shirley is a certified DiSC facilitator (personality assessment for career development, coaching, and team building), a certified RightPath facilitator (personality assessment for career development, coaching, and team building) and a certified Development Dimensions International (DDI) facilitator and trainer, which focuses on a Talent Management curriculum. Also, Shirley is a certified trainer and teaches Employment Learning Innovations’ (ELI) Civil Treatment for leaders and individual contributors. In addition, she has completed workplace investigator training through the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Workplace Investigations Group.
Shirley brings proven and diverse work experience to every consulting project. She has over 30 years of Fortune 500 experience and has worked in several industries including Utilities, Consumer Products, Health Insurance, and Aviation. Shirley is a leader in the community, where she volunteers and serves on nonprofit boards. In her spare time, Shirley enjoys mentoring, reading, writing, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
